Fun Little Springtime Birdhouse Card w/ Coordinating Box...

Just some fun with my Cricut Expressions and DS!
The pics don't do the leaves justice, but they are colored with Pearl Ex Powder and have a great shimmer to them.  The 4 little birds a coated with Tim Holtz Distressed Stickles which gives them a really cool texture!

My Fur Baby "Blue"...

Blue's my special kitty, he's been with me for 13 1/2 years and he is very loved!  He's a great photography subject and his photo's have also been used on some of my past card creations (posted below).

Blue was a pound baby and it was love at 1st sight!  There he sat in that pound kennel, watching and waiting.  He took one look at me, put his head down, closed those big baby "Blue"s, smooshed his face into the bars that restrained him, stuck both arms out, reaching with all his might and cried MEEOOOW.  All I can say is... I was in love and I couldn't adopt him fast enough♥
♥BLUE♥

One of my favorites and the sentiment suits Blue's personality!

Inside sentiment: I'll have a Blue Christmas without you!

My Baby Blue was diagnosed with CRF just over 2 weeks ago and I'm just devastated, here's the prognosis...

CRF is a terminal disease. The only questions are how long and how well the patient will live until the end. With proper treatment, the cat may have from months to years of relatively high-quality life. As the cat's caregiver(s), it is up to you to determine when the quality of life has decreased to a point at which prolonging life no longer has value.

As CRF progresses and toxin levels rise, cats become more uncomfortable with an overall sensation of feeling unwell. Human patients with a similar condition don't report "pain" but describe their condition as feeling poorly. Dehydration, in particular, can make the patient very uncomfortable. Aggressively treating CRF, especially with subcutaneous fluid therapy, should not be thought of as "prolonging the agony" as there is no significant pain associated with kidney failure until the end-stage. Even then, unless the patient convulses, the chief symptoms will be malaise, weakness, nausea and discomfort.

Red Chevy Corvette Vintage Old 50's Car "Lets Do Lunch" ~ Recycled Coffee Sleeve Handmade Greeting Card

The background image is a recycled coffee sleeve.  One of my husbands friends, heard that I did paper crafting and he started collecting these discarded coffee sleeves (with varying images) for me, years ago.  He thought they could be reused for something and as it turns out, he was right.  I've used them several times throughout the years on different projects.  They also work well punched into colorful flowers and such. To think these little treasures usually just get tossed :):):)

Uh Oh... I've been VERY bad and you can too ;)

If you haven't already, be sure to check out Joann's, they have an awesome selection of Cricut Cartridges on sale this week for $29.99.

Naturaly I just couldn't resist. I promised myself before we left the house this morning that if we ended up at Joann's (like we wouldn't) that I would limit myself to NO MORE than 4 cartridges.... Ha Ha! Believe it or not my DH is worse than me and pushed me to get the 5Th one (he didn't have to push to hard either). I'm such a sucker!  Hope everyone had a VERY Happy Mothers Day :):):)  Cheers, Lisa

The Cutest Heart Shaped Mini Scrapbook, Memory, Memoir, Journal, Photo Book, Just Let Your Imagination Run Wild....

This adorable, multi function, mini album has lots of room for journaling, pictures, memorabilia, etc.. There are tons of tags, pockets, little hidden flaps, lots of lines for journaling, just add your imagination and it will be perfect. There's also a cute little handmade box with coordinating pocket and tag.

I created the heart-shaped book in Cricut Design Studio and used my Cricut Expression with a deep blade housing to cut the chipboard and a regular blade to cut the paper overlays for the heart bases, many of the other heart shapes are also from my Cricut cartridges. I also created the fold out, journaling heart using DS.  If you would like to know what cartridges I used... Let me know.

Have a wonderful day... Cheers, Lisa

Cute Little Dress Card....

This card was inspired by another Cricut owner, from the Cricut Forum Website, who designed the cut using Cricut's Design Studio.  It was quite some time ago, that I downloaded the cut file and since Cricut made many changes (a whole new forum) I couldn't find the talented creator who made and shared the file.  If you happen to know the maker or if you're the maker... Thank you very much for sharing and I hope you love what I've done with your design :):):)
