Black Tie Sign Couple!
Hi, Happy Sunday! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I've graduated from reorganizing my craft space/supplies, to reorganizing the entire house, garage and potting shed. My husband's reluctantly on board, but I'm sure he wishes I still had my day job :):):) I've ordered a small dumpster so we could purge, all the years of unnecessary collecting. We've already made 2 donation trips to our local goodwill and I'm sure there will be more!
OK, so here's a simple little card idea I had before falling asleep one night and since I actually remembered it in the morning, I decided to bring it to life!
The couple, their black bow ties and heart are all covered in super fine glitter. Sure wish I would've captured that a bit better, it really makes it look adorable. Everything was cut via CCR, with my Cricut Expression. The entire couple is popped up for a 3D effect.
Hope you like it!

Christmas in July ~ Recycled Style!!!
Hello and Happy Monday!!
How was your weekend? I see everyone has been very busy making fabulous things!!!
Last week, for me, was all about reorganizing, sorting and, as hard as it is, purging through all my craft supplies. I'm hoping to have it all wrapped up today, but it is 8 years of stuff. It's quite interesting to see how my taste has changed, since I began crafting back in 2006. My DH was very helpful, he ran out and bought clear plastic bins, made labels for the bins, drawers, folders and moved the heavy stuff for me. I'm looking forward to having this project completed, it feels so good to get things reorganized and to get rid of excess.
Here are a couple of July Christmas cards. I was inspired by seeing everyone else's fun July Christmas cards. They're made of all scraps and recycled Christmas cards. You can't see it in the picture, but the poinsettias, are behind a clear, acetate window. Recycle and reuse :):):)
Hope you like them.
I've submitted them in the Craftin Desert Divas for our Christmas in JulyChallenge.
Thank you for letting me know Lisa :):):)

New York Themed Cards!
A little unknown tidbit about me :) I was raised in California, but I'm originally from New York. Although I don't recall much about living in N.Y., I still have some family there and affection for the state. I would also love to visit some day.
Anyway, a good friend of my mothers, recently traveled there for a wedding and had asked me to create, a New York skyline, wedding card and here's what I came up with!
Oh and just for fun... Let's not forget a somewhat traditional I ♥ New York card!!!
Happy Monday!

My awesome cousin graduated high school this month... Woohooo, David!!!
I made him this simple little graduation card, used my Cricut Expression and the cartridges "Classroom - June & July" , "Plantin Schoolbook" & "CCR Basics". The 2014 is popped up with foam tape for a nice 3D effect.
Happy Friday!

I "Mustache" You To Be....
MY VALENTINE!!!
Late as always. Would you believe that in real life, I'm one of the most punctual people ever. I'm actually kind of anal about being on time, but when it come to keeping up my blog, I am never on time. That's what happens when one just has too much on their plate.
Well, I'm happy to announce that, I'll be retired in a couple weeks.... So I'll be able to free my artistic soul and have more time to blog about it :):):)
OK! On with my tardy share...
Here's what I used for this creation: Splitcoaststampers Pop-up Box Card Tutorial, my Silhouette Cameo, the Silhouette I Mustache You To Be My Valentine (shape set) and the Silhouette Nested Hearts (shape set). Oh, I almost forgot an embossing folder, glitter, swirly rubber stamps and thin strips of recycled, clear acetate.

"My thoughts are with you always"
On April 7th my Dear Granny Phyl passed away, just 3 days after her 83rd birthday. She was a kind loving soul and will miss her dearly. Her beautiful laughter will live on in my heart forever.
♥♥♥
This is the card I created for her daughter, my Aunt Patty.
I've hand-cut the card base, clouds and mountains. I u
sed Copics to color in the "Green Grass" image by Stamps Happen, Inc. and then fussy cut the image, leaving out the original sentiment and adding "My thoughts are with you always" in the clouds. I've also added a pretty little ribbon, lots of stitching and layers, as well.
Thanks for visiting... Wishing you all a wonderful week.

My 1st Magazine Publication... Awesome Reusable Tags!
Hi Everyone!
Yes it's true, I've been published in Cricut Magazine® Cards Idea Book Dec 2013 and I'm so excited to finally be able to share the news with my crafty friends.
It's a project I'd posted previously, some of you may remember. I was asked to pull it from all websites for a certain amount of time and now I am able to share it again :):):)
Here's another 1st.... A video about my tags.
Awesome Reusable Tags:
Tags and flowers were created in CCR and cut using my Cricut
Expression with Art Philosophy cartridge.
Inks, stickles & rock candy crackle paints by Tim Holtz.
Tattered Angles (for shimmer)
Vintage seam binding ribbon.
Sewing, ball chain, eyelet, background rubber stamp.
For the reusable pocket, I cut up an Avery brand, protector
sheet and sewed it on.
You can also add rhinestones or brads in the center of your
flowers, instead of stickles, for a different look.
Wishing you a super fun & artistic day!

From Our Family To Yours... Merry Christmas!
Holy cow... Where did this year go?!!! Each year seems to go by quicker and quicker, t's amazing. I'v hardly had a chance to do anything creative this year. I've even had numerous custom requests that I had to turn down.
I hope you're all doing well and staying as crafty as ever.
Here's a cute little Christmas card I managed to squeeze in. The little flags are hand-cute from some fun Christmas material, I found in my stash.

Quick Mini Thank You Cards... Using Scrap Paper!
Here are some quick Mini's made entirely out of my scrap paper stash, you know the lovely little leftovers we just can't bare to throw away. They only measure about 3" x 2" and have 3 dimensional punch flowers. There size makes them even cuter than if they were a standard size card. The insides are simply stamped "Thank You"!
And I'd like to thank you for looking... Have a great day ♥

Fun... Double-sided Halloween Tag
This is a large tag and I decorated both sides. All cuts are from Cricut: Happy Haunting's, Elegant Edges and George Basic Shapes. I made the handle of the cauldron with real wire for a nice effect. Jack-O-Lantern face is a Peachy Keen Stamp.
This adorable tag was inspired by an awesome card, over at My Craft Spot... Be sure to check it out :):):)

Wander Where There Is No Path....
Crawling into bed one night, this idea popped into my head, I was far too exhausted to make a note as I normally would and thought for sure I would forget, but I didn't, YEAH :):):)
Made using:
Cricut Expression Machine, Design Studio & Heritage Cartridge (Bike with basket)
Copic Ciao Makers (Bike & Basket)
Stickles (Bike)
Hand cut and weaved (Basket weaving)
The bike was actually a whole bike that I sized to fit just the way you see it on my card. While I was assembling the card, I thought the basket would look better if I actually weaved it and I'm so glad I did. I just love textures and dimension.
Hope you like it.
Hugs,
