Saint Patricks Day Cards

I do love you ~ Made of mostly scrap & recycled materials

I stamped this on a scrap of stabilizer my DH had trimmed from an embroidery he had finished. It turned out great.  Then I sewed it to some cardboard that would usually get tossed in the trash at the office. The flowers were also leftover scraps from another project. The card & envelope are recycled paper.

Wacom Cintiq 12WX

Here's a photo I took at a Nascar race... I used my Wacom Cintiq 12wx in Photoshop, desaturated & added color back where I wanted it!

Just having fun with it!

This is a picture I drew & painted using the Wacom Cintiq 12WX.

Hi Everyone!

Well it has been very busy around here and there has been no real down time. I have been dying to find time to play with my Wacom Cintiq 12WX... "Interactive Pen Displays combine the advantages of an LCD monitor with the control, comfort, and productivity of Wacom's most sophisticated patented cordless, battery-free pen technology to allow you to work directly on screen.
You can angle or recline these displays to a range of positions so that they are more comfortable for you. Using the pen directly on the screen's surface is by far one of the most intuitive and natural ways to work with your computer."

It really makes photo editing & drawing a breeze. You have total control using the pens as opposed to a mouse and the ability to working directly on the screen is just plain awesome.

I've posted a couple of my first projects here for you... Enjoy!

Wishing you all happy & creative days ahead.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!

The card base and envelope were made using my Cricut Expression machine and my new Wild Card cartridge. It's a great cartridge, but I can't see it working well if you have a smaller Bug. I had to adjust the card size a bit in order to use the 12 x 12 patterned paper I had selected and fortunately I had some 12 x 24 paper on hand to accommodate the envelope size. The card and envelope both tie shut. The adorable little girl w/ the package, is a Magnolia rubber stamp. I stamped I Love Christmas on her little top & put a cute little Santa hat on her.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on seals for handmade envelopes, I used a tie closure for this one, but that may not always be appropriate? TY!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their day & Thanks for looking!

Hot Cocoa Cards... Inspired by Debbie @ Thinking Inking!

Good morning Everyone!

First... I want to thank Debbie at Thinking Inking for sharing her awesome Cocoa Packet Template. Please be sure to visit her blog and you can see all of her inspiring work.

Here are some pic's of my version of the Cocoa Cards, made from Debbie's template.  The orange, the traditional green and the blue box, have all been decorated with images I recycled from old coffee cup sleeves.  I made 7 of these for my husband to give to his coworkers, instead of traditional Christmas cards. They contain 2 packets of cocoa each, which fit perfectly inside. They will be great for the guys, since they all work outdoors and can always use a nice cup of cocoa to warm up.

Once again... I can't thank Debbie enough for sharing her creativity... It is truly appreciated.

Cheers, Lisa
