Christmas Treat Boxes
Hi!
Is everyone ready for the holidays? How about the wintry weather? I like it for a change.
It's been crazy busy around here, I've been preparing as time provides. Creating, working, packing, working, shipping, working, baking, shopping, packing, working, shipping some more, etc., etc.!!! We have family here from Arizona and that's always nice, especially because it's my mom :):):)

Here are some sweet treats for a few of my clients.... Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and boxes I whipped up today. The boxes are B-Day Girl cuts from the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge.

A Little Touch Of Raspberry!
Hey there! I hope your day is going well. I can't complain, the sun is finally out and I love the sunshine. So, today I just wanted to share a little something I came up over the weekend.
The stamp used on the tree is by Rubber Stampede & it's called Holiday Pear collage. The tag is stamped w/ a 1992 Stampin' Up stamp. |
Cartridges used...
Cricut Craft Room Basics: Trees & Card base (2"x3" rectangle, not the edging)
Elegant Edges: Snowflake Boarder (card base edging)
Art Philosophy: Tag
Ribbons & Rosettes: Scallop 1 & Tree Boarder 1x3 (envelope decor)
The tree is wrapped from front to back. Oh and I can never resist using bells, which I've tied to the tag on the front of the card! |
Some details...
The white tree is stamped with Versa Mark Watermark (clear) and then embossed with Stamp-n Stuff black embossing powder, for a rich black patent look. Edges inked with TH Black Soot. I created the card base in CCR, using Elegant Edges and CCR Basics (pieces mentioned above, welded together) The papers I used: Bazzill card stock (black), Making Memories (raspberry double stripe), GP 110 pound card stock (white)
Hope you like it :):):)

Cricut Cartridges used:
Art Philosophy for card bases and frames.
Winter Woodland for the cap, snowflakes and words.
Some details:
The picture doesn't show it, but I used white flocking on the Santa cap... It looks great in person.
The bells on the Peace card are hung with wire, therefore they actually swing freely and jingle :):):)

I Love Snow ~ Vintage Style Wooden Blocks Decoration
This was a fun little project...
I had my DH cut some scrap wood into 3"x 3" blocks with slightly rounded edges and I sanded them nice and smooth. Then I choose 4 different patterns of paper, but all coordinating in color and cut them to fit my blocks, making sure that each side of each block had a different pattern to display. I lightly inked all the paper edges with some TH distress ink. I applied the papers with Modge Podge and let it dry completely. Once they dried, I painted each side of each block with a sheer glimmer paint, for a very fine glitter effect (not visible in pic, but really pretty). Last but not least, I added these pre-cut and pre-glittered, gold and red chipboard letters.

Jingle Cat Christmas Card
Here's a fun, non-traditional Christmas card... I was inspired by the cards Jingle background paper. This adorable image is by Magenta, I filled it in with Copics and Stickles. Added a bunch of stitching. Made a coordinating box, so the beautiful bow wouldn't get smushed ;)
Hope everyone had a nice weekend; eating, shopping, crafting, relaxing, etc.

Acustic Guitar Card... "Where Words Fail, Music Speaks."
Here's a cheerful little 5x5 card I made. I love guitars, have two of my own and can never resist any music oriented stamps. This cute little guitar image is by Inkadinkado, I filled it in with Copic's. The inside is finished off with a 2005 Stampin' Up verse. The shapes layered under the guitar were cut from Nestabilities dies. The fibers are a random, by the yard, clearance item from Joann's, they were my color inspiration. Card-base is Bazzill card stock.

Fun with Glitter & Cricut Holiday Cards 8 & 14
These were a couple of free cuts offered in CCR last week. Initially, I wasn't sure if what to do with them, but then I decided to spray adhesive on the side of the liner that was to be exposed on the front of each card and then poured glitter to fill each design (white glitter for the reindeer & silver glitter for the Happy Holidays), then a bit of sewing, some ribbons, stars and vuala.... Hope you like them.

Fun... Double-sided Halloween Tag
This is a large tag and I decorated both sides. All cuts are from Cricut: Happy Haunting's, Elegant Edges and George Basic Shapes. I made the handle of the cauldron with real wire for a nice effect. Jack-O-Lantern face is a Peachy Keen Stamp.
This adorable tag was inspired by an awesome card, over at My Craft Spot... Be sure to check it out :):):)

Wander Where There Is No Path....
Crawling into bed one night, this idea popped into my head, I was far too exhausted to make a note as I normally would and thought for sure I would forget, but I didn't, YEAH :):):)
Made using:
Cricut Expression Machine, Design Studio & Heritage Cartridge (Bike with basket)
Copic Ciao Makers (Bike & Basket)
Stickles (Bike)
Hand cut and weaved (Basket weaving)
The bike was actually a whole bike that I sized to fit just the way you see it on my card. While I was assembling the card, I thought the basket would look better if I actually weaved it and I'm so glad I did. I just love textures and dimension.
Hope you like it.

Music Themed ~ Father's Day Card...
Here's a Fathers's Day card I created for my second dad. He plays the piano, hence the music theme and the little brads represent his initials :):):)
"The music & treble clef is actually a Stampin' Up stamp from a set called "MUSICAL MANUSCRIPT". I embossed it and the other two phrases, to match with "Black Satin" embossing powered."
