Created in Design Studio... Inspired by Tim Holtz "Townscape"!

Above: My version of  the "Townscape" assembled on a card and the inside of card/envelope.

Above:  Sizzix On The Edge Die ~ Townscape By Tim Holtz

Here are the Cricut cartridges used & a few simple instructions:

  1. Going Places:  House #1
  2. Doodle Charms:  House #2 (actually a little dog house)
  3. Christmas Cheer:  Tree
  4. Zooballoo:  House #3
  5. George:  Sign
  6. Beyond Birthdays:  House #4, Brown Banner (footing), Merry Christmas
  7. Accent Essentials:  Extra Windows (for the houses)
  • In DS... Placed, stretched and/or squeezed each item to my liking.  Welded it all together.  Selected the word "dog" on the dog house, not to cut.  Cut everything out of white card-stock x3 (extras are for envelope, inside, 3d & shadow effects).  Colored it all in, in a childlike fashion, for effect. Decorated Christmas Tree with a string of mini lights. Assembled on card as shown. It was that easy!

If you like it and have DS, I'm always happy to share the cut file, just let me know :):):)
Cheers,

  1. Wow Lisa. I love this card. I have my Cricut Expression and I have my Design Studio. I even tought classes at our lSS before she had to close. But I have to tell you I have never used it to make a card even though I have the older cartridge of card making. lol. My point is that you are soooo talented when it comes to this. I will say it again. I LOVE this card. The colors are just fabulous! It is good to meet you. I was wondering, do you live in the United States? I couldn't find anywhere on your blog were you live. Have a great Thursday. Hugs, Lisa
