Peace & Frosty Kisses for Christmas ~ 2 Easel Cards

Cricut Cartridges used:
Art Philosophy for card bases and frames.
Winter Woodland for the cap, snowflakes and words.

Some details:
The picture doesn't show it, but I used white flocking on the Santa cap... It looks great in person.
The bells on the Peace card are hung with wire, therefore they actually swing freely and jingle :):):)

Happy Thursday!

I Love Snow ~ Vintage Style Wooden Blocks Decoration

This was a fun little project...

I had my DH cut some scrap wood into 3"x 3" blocks with slightly rounded edges and I sanded them nice and smooth.  Then I choose 4 different patterns of paper, but all coordinating in color and cut them to fit my blocks, making sure that each side of each block had a different pattern to display.  I lightly inked all the paper edges with some TH distress ink.  I applied the papers with Modge Podge and let it dry completely.  Once they dried, I painted each side of each block with a sheer glimmer paint, for a very fine glitter effect (not visible in pic, but really pretty).  Last but not least, I added these pre-cut and pre-glittered, gold and red chipboard letters.

Jingle Cat Christmas Card

Here's a fun, non-traditional Christmas card... I was inspired by the cards Jingle background paper.  This adorable image is by Magenta, I filled it in with Copics and Stickles.  Added a bunch of stitching.   Made a coordinating box, so  the beautiful bow wouldn't get smushed ;)

Hope everyone had a nice weekend; eating, shopping, crafting, relaxing, etc.

Acustic Guitar Card... "Where Words Fail, Music Speaks."

Here's a cheerful little 5x5 card I made.  I love guitars, have two of my own and can never resist any music oriented stamps.  This cute little guitar image is by Inkadinkado, I filled it in with Copic's.  The inside is finished off with a 2005 Stampin' Up verse.  The shapes layered under the guitar were cut from Nestabilities dies. The fibers are a random, by the yard, clearance item from Joann's, they were my color inspiration.  Card-base is Bazzill card stock.

Fun with Glitter & Cricut Holiday Cards 8 & 14

These were a couple of free cuts offered in CCR last week. Initially, I wasn't sure if what to do with them, but then I decided to spray adhesive on the side of the liner that was to be exposed on the front of each card and then poured glitter to fill each design (white glitter for the reindeer & silver glitter for the Happy Holidays), then a bit of sewing, some ribbons, stars and vuala.... Hope you like them.
