Hi, I hope your enjoying this fine Labor day!!! It's been super hot & humid here, but nice to finely get some down time :):):)
So, I've noticed these adorable little needle felted critters all over the internet and I just had to give it a go. Trust me when I say, if you're going to try it, be very careful... I gave myself a few good stabbings with that crazy felting needle and it doesn't feel so hot!!!
The black and white kitty is in the likeness of my sweet little Hailey cat, who passed away in June this year. It's not great, but not too shabby for my first try ;)
The second one is a cute little lop eared bunny, I made especially for my Blythe doll "Georgina". I have yet to find subtitle eyes for this cute little bun-bun, but I am on the lookout. I tried googly eyes and didn't like them. I think i'll try some black beads?!
All you need is: Roving Wool, Felting needles, Foam felting pad and some eyes.
Hugs,
So adorable and I think little black beads (not sure what size he is) maybe seed beads if he is small, would look wonderful. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, sorry to read about your cat. That is very sad. I think that both your bunny and your kitty cat look really great however. I can just imagine how that feels when you kit the wrong spot. Ouch! Hope you are doing well. I have been so busy with work this summer that I have really let my computer time and blogging go. I am trying however to get back into and get back to visiting everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. Somehow I was lucky and ended up with 4 whole days off and boy I was so happy and so good with my time. Three cheers for crafty Mommy time. :O) Hugs, Lisa G
